These one inch rockwool cubes come in two sheets of fifty, providing a total of 100 plugs for seed starting or cloning. The mineral wool fibers are designed to hold significant amounts of water while still allowing oxygen to reach the roots. This balance is vital for preventing rot in new cuttings and encouraging fast growth.
The plugs are a standard size that fits most propagation trays and inserts. Because they are soilless, they provide a sterile environment that reduces the risk of soil-borne pests and diseases. These cubes are an effective choice for gardeners who want to transition plants into larger hydroponic systems or aeroponic setups later on.
This set is sized for home gardeners who manage smaller batches of plants. The cubes are easy to separate from the main sheet as needed for individual planting. They provide a stable base for young stems and help maintain the necessary humidity levels during the critical first weeks of a plant's life cycle.
